Jordan and Virginia

I thought that it might be fun to write about Jordan and Virginia.  They are so awesome.  They are really my friends.  But mainly, I'm their Grandmother, whom they refer to as "oohwhoo".  We used to see each other at least once a week, but now we only see each other every month or so.  I miss them so much that I almost can't think about them too much, or I get weepy.  I sit in my living room and remember the times they would be in here with me.  Adding so much fun and tenderness to my life.  I miss them.

A Good Day

Today was a good day.  I worked out in an hour and a half weight class this morning.  Shopped all afternoon.  Ate a yummy caesar chicken salad for a late afternoon lunch at COSI.  Made a nice steamed peas and raw radishes with dip for dinner.  Made a delicious baked parmesean chicken for a late night snack after my wonderful, brisk and very cold 35 minute walk/run in the snow with my baby boy, Oatmeal.  Also, there's just nothing like a yummy small glass of grapefruit juice after the walk/run.

I miss Kasey and Nina tonight.  It's hard sometimes to spend, what seems,  your whole life with two people and then they leave.  Even though you speak and love each other, you miss the "living" together.

So, it's a good day when God is your God and Jesus Christ is your Lord.  I am very thankful for God and His Son, because of God's love, I am saved from the wrath to come.
